Series: Mariëndaal in blue 

This  a series of spray paint images of an empty building that serves as my studio. I find it beautiful and charming in it’s abandoned state. I love the building, the light fall and the odd, useless corners. This image is created with various layers of blue and white spray paint, carefully constructed by taping or cutting out certain parts. A ceramic tile surface is used for the spray paint image. A material that is frequently used throughout the building. It is a continuing series, as there are still many corners and spaces in the building left to portray.
